Football Manager 2009 Wonderkids

As we all know Football Manager 2009 (FM09) is out although we are all having issues running the the bad boy.
Although it’s early days I thought it might be a good idea for us to try and identify who we think the new future wonderkids in FM09 are. I’m sure some of the wonderkids from FM08 will be there again (I’m thinking Saivet, Vela, Bojan etc) but I’m thinking we should be able to pull some new names out of the hat. That said feel free to throw in some of the old names in there but you get less kudos if you do.

The obvious (and expensive):

  • Anderson (AMC) – Man Utd
  • Balotelli (AM RL, ST) – Inter
  • Giovinco (AM LC, FC) – Juventus
  • Walcott (AM LC, FC) – Arsenal
  • Bojan (FC) – Barcelona
  • Aguero (AM, FC) – At. Madrid
  • Dos Santos ( AM RLC, FC)  – Tottenham
  • Fiorillo (GK) – Sampdoria
  • Galvan (Cruz Azul)
  • Hamsik (Napoli)
  • Kroos (FC Bayern)
  • Pato (A.C. Milan)
  • Pjanic (Olympique Lyonnais)
  • Benzema (Olympique Lyonnais)
  • Saivet (FC Girondins de Bordeaux)
  • Sakho (Paris Saint-Germain)
  • Vela (Arsenal)

Less obvious (not so expensive):

  • Bruna (Liverpool)
  • Boucher (Havre Athletic Club)
  • Alamo (Tapachula)
  • David Rochela (Deportivo B)
  • Ansaldi (Rubin)
  • Wijnaldum (Feyenoord)
  • De Gea (Atletico B)
  • Diaz (River)
  • Villaluz (Cruz Azul)
  • Walter (Internacional)
  • Wilshere (Arsenal)
  • Kolodziecziak (Racing Club de Lens)
  • Paulo Henrique (Santos)
  • Maidana (Spartak Moscow)
  • Davila (Chivas)
  • Nemeth (Liverpool)
  • Willian (Shakhtar)
  • Neymar (Santos)
  • Taison (Internacional)
  • Welbeck (Man Utd)
  • Tales (Internacional)
  • Monzon (Boca)
  • Hobbit Bermudez (Atlante)
  • Esparza (Chivas)
  • Fleck (Rangers)
  • Dalla Valle (Liverpool)
  • Delfouneso (Aston Villa)
  • Shea (FC Dallas)

Right that’ll do to start the ball rolling so who do you think the wonderkids of FM09 are?

Competition to win Football Manager 2011? It’s REALLY simple to enter

Try Rasmus Christiansen from Denmark, if you stear a small club. Amazing centerback.

But the best of the best is Marco Perez. No need for describe. Just buy him!

Jordan henderson if looked after and can turn out to be one of the best, he is in the reserve squad for sunderland if just starting, i sighn him everytime and give him a second half run about anytime i can for the first season, and when his skills develop alow him full matches. he soon becomes a really great player

Some , players you may not have heard of, but I promise will not dissapoint – Tobias Sippel (GK), Sascha Kotysch (DM), Lars Bender (DM), Christian Eichner (LB), Stefano Celozzi (RB), Borysiuk (forgotten his first name, DM), Sebastian Freis (AM), Michael Siefert (ST), Christopher Lamprecht (RB, free transfer), Mavram Mavraj (CB) – all fantastic players who won’t let you down. Reliable, overall superb, consistent and fit for any top team at low prices.

Need help, just finished my first season with Shamrock Rovers. In charge 6 months and have won the treble, season finishes in december (i.e summer season) but the problem i have is getting players to sign for the club. have an amazing offer for Davila (worth £1.1m), is transfer listed for £80,000 but can’t get him to sign and the board wont give me enough money for 50% of his wages for a loan deal, even though i can offer him more in a transfer. help? any ideas of small ways to convince players to sign for you? Thanks

    • Sean Stewart Reply

No point in trying to get him buddy. U might aswel set ur sights on other strikers, chances are he wouldnt get a work permit anyways.. I’d recommend if atall possible try sign tom elliott from leeds. Or theo robinson from watford. Both destroy the irish league and there cheap. Good luck!
