As we all know Football Manager 2009 (FM09) is out although we are all having issues running the the bad boy.
Although it’s early days I thought it might be a good idea for us to try and identify who we think the new future wonderkids in FM09 are. I’m sure some of the wonderkids from FM08 will be there again (I’m thinking Saivet, Vela, Bojan etc) but I’m thinking we should be able to pull some new names out of the hat. Marquinhos, (i think its spelt) starts at Palmeiras and becomes a world-beater, but the best investment in a player you can make is in Andres Guardado from Deportivo, costs about £15mil from Deportivo but he becomes one of the best players on the game and can sell him for £40mil plus, also cant believe noones mentioned him Matias Fernandez, pick him for about £7mil from Villareal and at 22(start of the game)he's probably the most skilful player on the game, also Vargas, Monzon and Lassana Diarra, all cheap and young, and brilliant at beginning of the game,(besides Monzon, takes him bout a season to get really good)

nearly forgot, Camacho,Rossi(from villareal) and Thiago Silva are brilliant investments, Silva cost me 3.8mil and by Jan all the big teams wanted him, so pick him up early, also Marcelo from Real Madrid, usually transfer listed right at start, bout £4.4mil , some big clubs normally in for him but he is really good if played on left wing not at left back, Rafinha at Schalke i believe becomes a REALLY good RB, but seriously,GET MATIAS FERNANDEZ, hes the player that no matter who i am if i can hes the first player i get, and he always produces the same awesomeness with every team, every season, you wont be disappointed

PS to pay for the above players, over the course of the 3 seasons I pretty much sold the entire Rangers team, except for Fleck, Mendes and Whittaker.
Ferguson went to Elche, Boyd went to Hull (you could see that happening in real life) Beasley went to Hoffenheim, Edu went to Spurs, Broadfoot went to Portsmouth, McGregor went to Newcastle.
Seriously, though. The most important thing to do first is hire decent scouts and send them to Spain & France. I've got so many brilliant 17-20yr olds in my Reserves I almost want the big clubs to buy my best first team players so I can bring through the next generation.
A good scout (at least in my game) is Christian Karembeu. Obviously, in real life he'd be too busy pumping his gorgeous missus Adriana to unearth hidden gems in rural France…

i started a game as stoke and I have won the league and the champions league three times in a row and I'm in 2014!!
some players who helped me out in the early days are:
pedro leon-got him for free, plays well for mid table club quality signing
joe mattock- bought him for 2 million, sold him to arsenal two seasons later for 30 million!!
kyriakos papadopoulos- becomes immense. well worth it
marquinhos- quite expensive but is incredible and is well worth it
miguel veloso- this is an obvious one. get him if possible
stephen defour- well worth it. quite expensive I think though
davide santon- becomes really really good. won't move for a couple of years though.
sakho and chantome- psg- both become incredible. sakho gets snapped up quickly. chantome once signed by someone, is very difficult to get. cheap early on.

around 2011 on fm 09 search for a player called joakim bild. i think he is around 15-16 years old and plays in center mid and when i scouted him it said he would be a leading star for most premiership teams. AT 15-16 YEARS OLD. The bad thing is that he was valued at 5 million but i had to buy him for 23 million. he also has the potentioal to be better than cesc fabregas. Also check out these youths, riccardo russo and fabrizo prandini. Both have the potential to be as good as federico fazio. one is worth around 1 million and the other about 3. enjoy:D:D:D

How can all of you not know a thing about steven defour. He is truly AMAZING. 20 year old player that looks as if he is 26 or somethng. He isnt really aplayer for the future which is the type of player most people here put. He already has the required attributes. Only worth 1.1 mil but his employers are stingy and would probably ask for 4 times that. But he's worth it.

Jon Wiggins – Stoke City – 14 – Unfortunately he is a regen but all of his stats are full and he is the best player in the world and plays first team for Stoke at 14 years of age – Real Madrid put 150 Million in for him and it rejected by Stoke !!

This guy is AMAZING. so fast, skillfull and scores 20 goals a season. I played him with Robinho and they scored 50 goals between them both first season in the premership.

In the game it is almost impossible to get young Brazilians who turn out to be stars when managing in England. However I have found a player;
Alípio, 16 years old, plays for Portugese club 'Rio Ave Futebol Clube' and value is £5k. Be cautious; he is rarely given an English conditional work permit.
I have him signed, he scored 50 goals in the Premier League with my club Wycombe, and he's worth £31.25m, with only two abilities (Leadership & Teamwork) under 15.

Zoran Tosic AMRL Partizan £8M – Real gem of the serbian league, Man United have bought him in real life.
Adem Ljajic AMRLC Partizan £3M – Younger and probably in the end better version of Tosic. Man United have also bought him in real life.
Cesar Villaluz AMRC Cruz Azul £1.4M – Will come to most Championship teams in first season if you can afford. Should be first signing if Championship team. Becomes wonderkid 2010-2011.
Axel Witsel AMRLC Standard 5-10M – Fantastic CM if you can prise him away from Standard. Excelled when bought for QPR and partnered Fellaini in CM.
Jack Rodwell DC Everton £5M – Future captain of England and very easy to obtain if you have the money.
Tales AMC Internacional £3.5M – Another top quality ACM, has Spanish passport.
Andrew Driver AML Hearts £2.5M – A project, Englishman with natural left foot, can become one of the best left wingers in the game. But you need to put a lot of effort in.
Gabriel Torje AMR £4M – Romanians answer to Ronaldo, has good pace, acceleration and wingers stats.

i cant believe no1 has said feghouli he is worth 37million on my ac milan game im on my 7th season now but if u play him he becomes amazing and u can buy him for 6.5mil. gourcuff also wicked scores some screamers from out side the box. akinfeev is my GK and he wins best GK every year even above casilas who my brother has for inter. also aguero is brilliant! thiery henry was crap for me on my milan game but good on my barca 1 also dont let owen go to waste he only cost 5 millions n agbonglahore plays alot better than his potenial.

Only into my 2nd season with Newcastle (won the league and leage cup in season 1) and the main reason? Tore Reginiussen (£1.3m). Norwegian defender is a stalwart. Not a superstar, but the player you need in your squad.
Fleck (Rangers) and Goossens (£1.3m) for the left side of your team. Look out for Dominique Malonga – slow starter but picks up the pace. Demidov is a good shout. Schneiderlin is fantastic but he's signed for West Ham in my game.
Sold Steve Harper for £5m, signed Ben Foster free (and he's been immense in the 2nd season). Also got Adriano lined up for next season on a free transfer…not sure how he'll turn out.
Davide Santon is young and useful. Jack Collison has taken a while to settle in but Stephen Appiah, season 1 free signing…IMMENSE!

no one on any website mentions vagner love, the cska moskow striker! he's like the best striker EVER! he and pato from milan are the best players in the game… henri saviet is very good also… denis alibec (romanian striker from farul) becomes very good (he's bought by lyon and he scores every game in ECC). igor akinfeev is still good (he will win best GK of the year), like in the other fms.

Franco Zuculini at Racing club turns into an immense player, as does Airton (Flamengo). Also Eduardo Salvio (Lanus). Davide Santon (Inter) and Andrea Mazzarani (Udinese) both become quality players also keep an eye on Subotic (Dortmund) and Kuzmanovic (Fiorentina).
I can probably name a team which is worth signing which can go on to win any top flight title.

oh and bolzoni and vitale dmc/mc and LB/WBL/ML respectively can be signed from inter for quite cheap round 12 m both and are both quality players who joined my cardiff team after 1 season in the prem. after 2 seasons they are wanted by all of Europe's top teams for 20m each. got balotelli for 8m after he got pissed at jose mourinho and wanted to leave. they all say they owe it to themselves to move to a bigger club after a while so try and sell them for big bucks before they start moaning. kacar is also a great DC.DMC who can be had for 5m after 3 seasons. top player.
