Football Manager 2012 (FM2012) Wonderkids & Future Stars

Welcome to what is sure to become the definitive list of Football Manager 2012 (FM2012) Wonderkids & Future Stars (the FM2011 list was downloaded over 60,000 times).

The game has just come out and while I’ve invested hours upon hours over the last few months playing the FM2012 BETA you don’t really get the full picture of how things will pan out until weeks & months of playing the final game

There are other sites out there with bigger lists BUT every player on this list has the potential to be at the very minimum to have 3.5 star potential. There is no 2/3 star potencial players here, every player is a future class act.

You can download the list at the bottom of the post and import it into your game .

  16. Tyoom Reply

Seriously….. One of the biggest talents of all is missing.
Christian Eriksen 19 years old plays for Ajax Amsterdam.
At the start of the game it says he’ll be the next Michael Laudrup and has potential of 4.5 stars in Ajax’s team.

    • Niall Reply

Indeed he is, once I got around 30 players in I my eyes started to blur over.

Corrected although I did say it was a work in progress. I didn’t want to base it completely on the BETA :)

      • Tyoom

        Nice one mate…..
        Keep up the good work!

  17. Rory G Reply

As a big liverpool fan i would have to say young suso. Only played one season with him in the demo and he was a gem. One other i would also pick would be paul pogba only from last years FM.

Great list of FM 2012 wonderkids containing more than 370 players:

    • Niall Reply

It’s a good list but we are looking for players 3.5 upwards and many of those ones are not.

  19. andy Reply

neymar, lukaku, nuri sahin, kjaer, phil jone, smalling, rafael, rodwel, jack wilshere..

  20. Clausen Reply

Had a first glimse at Fm 2012 .. first error is that Sebastian Paul Clark from OB is from 1996 (23-02-1996) and not 1995 (4-1-1995). The latest recent speed tests put him quickest to move on the ball then anyone on OB U17/U19 liga. So, potentially a good wonderkid to watch during the next two seasons.

  21. Mark Reply

Ross Barkley, Jack Wilkshire, Danny Welbeck, Daniel Sturidge, Kyle Walker, Martin Kelly, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Tom Cleverley and obviously Joe Hart – Future of England right there :)

  22. jorge Reply

    I would say.
    Axel witsel
    Nelson Oliveira
    thats my two picks

  23. Croat Reply

    Mateo Kovačić from Dinamo Zagreb
Many english teams already monitor him (Arsenal, ManUtd, Liverpool, etc), he is getting his chance in Dinamo’s first team at the age of 16. He is showing great pace, stamina, quickness and passing ability. Playing at attacking midfielder position, labeled to be better than Luka Modrić.
    Other Dinamo players:
    Mario Šitum – 17 years
Domagoj Vida (signed in 2011/12 from B.Leverkusen) – 21 years
    Ivan Kelava – 22 years

    as far as Ajax goes.

Thulani Serero could be the next Steven Pienaar, or better.
Christian Eriksen reminds me of both Laudrup’s
Aras Özbiliz could be a good playmaker someday.
Nicolai Boilesen, will be a great attacking left defender.
Jody Lukoki, needs a lot of training and discipline, but could be a perfect right winger/shadow striker

Also forgot to mention Ross Barkley from everton fc. Anyone who has watched Everton’s preseason games will be able to see his class. He was brilliant against Wenger Bremen and he is only 17. Huge future.

As a huge fan of Australian Soccer I will say:

    > Mustafi Amani: Just signed for Dortmund from the A-League. Huge talent.
    > Tommy Oar: Was a gun last year in the A-League, joined the Dutch league and is starring in the current U/20 WC.
    > Mitchell Langerack: Also at Dortmund, made his debut for the last year and starred (MOTM by memory). Huge future.
    > Dylan Tombides: Won the best youth player for West Ham last year and starred in the U/17 WC. Was subject of interest from some big clubs, will be a star in the future when he recovers from his setback.

  48. Emil Reply

Conor Coady are in the mould of Steven Gerrard. Both can tackle, shoot and they both have great leadership. The only thing that Conor have to improve is his passing range. Gerrard has great crossing ability, and if Conor can improve his crossing ability we will have Gerrard’s natural successor.

i think as far as english wonderkids only jack wiltshire as he is miles ahead of any player is age. and other ones would be neymar from santos, lukaku from anderlecht, but i think that they should try and have something in the game that makes this a little less predictable as you end up with sthe same 2 or 3 buys everytime you play the game.
